Entitlement

The approvals process calls for its own marketing strategy.

The process of entitlement in Northern California is way more complex than ever before. EMC’s marketing acumen has been put to good use identifying stakeholder groups and what they need to believe in order to support the community.

Client: Shea Homes
Project: The Bottoms Property
Location: Pt. Richmond, California

Description: Shea Homes worked hard to protect views from existing neighborhoods as it developed its design for a condominium community along San Francisco Bay. EMC was brought in to create a “what’s in it for the neighbors” booklet and web site.

Client: O’Brien Homes
Project: The Terraces of Lafayette
Location: Lafayette, California

Description: Although this development in Lafayette was highly controversial, it offered up many benefits to the community-at-large. EMC worked with the builder to create a pre-approval informational web site – plus a retail space for meeting with community groups to explain the project and its benefits.

Client: Westlake Urban
